Bellowhead have taken the folk scene by storm over the last few years and now make their first appearance at SaltaireLive.

With eleven members at the last count, Bellowhead make a big sound and a big spectacle. To describe the music is not easy - the material is steeped in elements of the English folk song and dance traditions, but performed by a band which looks and feels very different to anything else from that tradition, past or present. The feel is intoxicating, exciting, sometimes slightly sinister and deeply funky....above all, this is a big band experience. At the band's request, this will be a standing show. Although there will be a few unreserved seats in the balcony, available first come, first served, this show is for a standing audience and there is no guarantee of getting one of the balcony seats, so please be aware of this before booking.
