Forthcoming shows

Normally our shows are at Victoria Hall Saltaire. However, unusually for us, this autumn several of the larger bands are playing at St George's Hall, Bradford. The listings below give the venue for each show.

Oleg Ponomarev's KOSHKA - £12.50

Stunning Russian gypsy violinist Oleg Ponomarev - formerly of LOYKO - joins forces with guitarists Drazen Derek & Nigel Clark to produce one of the most vibrant, dazzling sounds anywhere in acoustic music.

Combining classical precison with fiery gypsy passion, all three are exceptional musicians, which enables them to let fly with wildfire abandon. As a result, Koshka now stand at the cutting edge of gypsy music, taking it to increasingly dizzy heights of invention and creativity.

Le VENT du NORD - £12.50

Le Vent du Nord are one of the leading names in the traditional music of Quebec. The band are true performers - a live act full of skill, energy and joie de vivre.

They boast a string of awards - including best Canadian Band, Album and Live Act - and wherever they play they bring a genune flavour of the lively, envigorating music scene of Quebec.
